Worship Lyrics

How Great Is Our God

CHORUS
How great is our God
Sing with me, how great is our God
And all will see how great
How great is our God

BRIDGE
You’re the name above all names
You are worth of our praise
My  heart will sing
How great is our God

Great Things

VERSE 1
Come let us worship our King
Come let us bow at His feet
He has done great things
See what our Savior has done
See how His love overcomes
He has done great things

CHORUS
O Hero of Heaven You conquered the grave
You free every captive and break every chain
O God You have done great things
We dance in Your freedom awake and alive
O Jesus our Savior Your name lifted high
O God You have done great things

VERSE 2
You’ve been faithful through every storm
You’ll be faithful forevermore
You have done great things
And I know You will do it again
For Your promise is yes and amen
You will do great things
God You do great things

CHORUS

BRIDGE
Hallelujah God above it all
Hallelujah God unshakable
Hallelujah You have done great things
You’ve done great things

CHORUS

Who You Say I Am

VERSE 1
Who am I that the highest King
Would welcome me
I was lost but He brought me in
Oh His love for me

CHORUS 1
Who the Son sets free
Oh is free indeed
I’m a child of God
Yes I am

VERSE 2
Free at last
He has ransomed me
His grace runs deep
While I was a slave to sin
Jesus died for me
Yes He died for me

CHORUS 1

CHORUS 2
In my Father’s house
There’s a place for me
I’m a child of God
Yes I am

BRIDGE
I am chosen not forsaken
I am who You say I am
You are for me not against me
I am who You say I am

CHORUS 1
CHORUS 2

Goodness of God

VERSE 1
I love You, Lord
For Your mercy never fails me
All my days, I’ve been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up
Until I lay my head
I will sing of the goodness of God

CHORUS
All my life You have been faithful
All my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
I will sing of the goodness of God

VERSE 2
I love Your voice
You have led me through the fire
In the darkest night
You are close like no other
I’ve known You as a Father
I’ve known You as a friend
And I have lived in the goodness of God

CHORUS

BRIDGE
Your goodness is running after
It’s running after me
With my life laid down
I’m surrendered now
I give You everything
Your goodness is running after
It’s running after me

CHORUS

How Great Thou Art

CHORUS
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee
How great Thou art, How great Thou art
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee
How great Thou art, How great Thou art

VERSE
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: “My God, how great Thou art!”

Build My Life

VERSE 1
Worthy of every song we could ever sing
Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for You

VERSE 2
Jesus the name above every other name
Jesus the only one who could ever save
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for You

CHORUS
Holy there is no one like You
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder and show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me

VERSE 1
VERSE 2
CHORUS

BRIDGE
I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken

CHORUS

Graves Into Gardens

VERSE 1
I searched the world
But it couldn’t fill me
Man’s empty praise
And treasures that fade
Are never enough

Then You came along
And put me back together
And every desire
Is now satisfied
Here in Your love

CHORUS
Oh, there’s nothing better than You
There’s nothing better than You
Lord, there’s nothing
Nothing is better than You

VERSE 2
I’m not afraid
To show You my weakness
My failures and flaws
Lord, You’ve seen ’em all
And You still call me friend

‘Cause the God of the mountain
Is the God of the valley
There’s not a place
Your mercy and grace
Won’t find me again

CHORUS

BRIDGE
You turn mourning to dancing
You give beauty for ashes
You turn shame into glory
You’re the only one who can

You turn graves into gardens
You turn bones into armies
You turn seas into highways
You’re the only one who can

CHORUS

    Theme: The Power of Love

    Reflect Together:

What impacted you the most from last Sunday’s Message? How are we called to leverage love over power and why is it the most effective in influencing others?

    Share Together:

If there is one thing you would like to be famous for, what is it and why?

    Read Together:

    John 13:34-35

    Discuss Together:

    • What does the word “disciple” bring to your mind? What have you learned about the meaning of this word according to the New Testament?

    • How comfortable are you with thinking of yourself as a disciple of Jesus? Have you ever thought of yourself this way? What does being a disciple mean to you?

    • Why do you think Jesus put so much emphasis on love as the distinguishing characteristic of disciples?

    • In general, do you think the followers of Jesus in your community consider themselves as “Christians” or disciples? What difference do you see this making?

    • According to Jesus, what is the evidence of His love is in our lives?

    • How can we love as Jesus loved to affect those who already know His love? How can we show His love in practical ways?

      Pray Together:

How can you use prayer to help you forgive others this week? Also, share how God is answering prayer and any prayer requests you have. Take time to pray for each other.
