What does the Bible say?

Every life is by God.

So God created mankind in his own image… Genesis 1:27

For you created my inmost being;
     you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made… Psalm 139:13-14

Every life is by God.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
    before you were born I set you apart. Jeremiah 1:5

“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12:6-7

Every life is to God.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
