Revelation 4:6

Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.


Revelation 5:6

Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders.

  2. Read Colossians 1:15-20 out loud. Can you name some of the areas that Jesus has been named supreme over?
  3. Read Revelation 4:6, 5:6 and 7:17. How do these passages make you feel? 
  4. Which area is hardest for you to connect to your faith: your identity, your sense of purpose, or your desire for belonging?
  5. If you could talk face to face with Jesus, what would you ask him?
  6. If Jesus asked you to center your entire life around him, how would you respond?
